HONEY WAS FOUND IN A TOMB AFTER 3000 YEARS AND IT WAS STILL GOOD
Archaeologists opened an Egyptian tomb and found honey you could still eat.

It was in the tomb of Tutankhamun and other pharaoh tombs. Pots of honey over 3000 years old, still perfectly edible and sweet. Honey is the only food on earth that never spoils if you seal it right and keep water out.

It works because honey is only about 17 percent water. Bacteria need at least 18 percent to live. Bees add an enzyme that makes tiny amounts of hydrogen peroxide. It is so thick and so acidic that bacteria cannot even float or grow inside it.

What nobody talks about is hospitals still use medical grade manuka honey on wounds today because it kills germs that antibiotics cannot touch. It is used in burn units.

Juliane Koepcke fell out of the sky on Christmas Eve and survived 11 days alone in the Amazon.

In 1971 LANSA Flight 508 was struck by lightning over Peru at 10000 feet and broke apart. There were 92 people on board. Juliane was 17, still strapped to a row of 3 seats, and she fell nearly 2 miles into the jungle canopy.

She woke up with a broken collarbone, a deep cut on her leg full of maggots, one shoe, and no glasses. Her mother had been beside her and was gone. She found a bag of candy at the crash site. That was her only food.

What nobody talks about is she knew jungle survival because her parents were zoologists. She followed water downstream for 11 days until she found a lumber camp.

A 17 year old tried to break a world record for a science fair and almost lost his mind.

In 1964 Randy Gardner from San Diego stayed awake for 264 hours and 24 minutes. That is 11 days with zero stimulants and zero sleep. His friends Bruce and Joe and a sleep researcher watched him the whole time.

By day 2 his eyes stopped focusing. By day 4 he thought a street sign was a person. By day 10 he could not do simple math and thought he was a famous football player. He even beat the researcher at pinball on day 10.

What nobody talks about is after he finally slept for 14 hours straight his sleep pattern returned to normal in a few nights. No permanent damage, but Guinness stopped taking this record because it is so dangerous.

LONDON DROWNED IN BEER AND 8 PEOPLE DIED
On October 17 1814 a wave of beer 15 feet high flooded London.

At the Horse Shoe Brewery a wooden vat holding 135000 gallons of porter burst. The iron rings snapped and the pressure knocked over another vat and in total 323000 gallons exploded out. That is about 2.5 million pints pouring into the slum of St Giles at terrifying speed.

The flood smashed two homes and collapsed a wall where a wake was being held. People drowned, were crushed, or died from alcohol fumes in cellars. Eight people died, mostly women and children watching the funeral. More than 15000 people came to see the ruins after.

What nobody talks about is the brewery was saved because the government refunded the tax on the lost beer while families got nothing at first. The court called it an act of God and said no one was to blame.
